So, its been a week. Benjamin, so far has been pretty mild tempered and I love to snuggle him. We had a photo shoot yesterday... Some of them turned out okay... Brandon and his dad came up with the lacrosse stick prop.

I'll let Valynn get on and write something I'm just going to put some pictures up. Well ok I'll give you a little info. we have a new baby BOY !! His name is Richard Benjamin Haslam , we plan on calling him Benjamin. He was born on friday April 10th at 6:02 pm  9 lbs. 1 oz. and 20 and a half in. long. He and his mother are doing well. 

Update

Well, when Quincy cut her hair on Sunday I called my friend Jackie to help me figure out what to do. But for one reason or another we could never seem to find a time for her to get over here (between us leaving the house unexpectedly, the girls then getting sick, etc.) So, me being impatient, one day sat Quincy down in the bathroom and attempted myself....
Like it or not-- here's the beautiful Quincy princess with short hair.... I'm glad hair grows.

While I was fixing dinner the other day Quincy opened up the fridge and suggested we have broccoli as our vegetable.... before I was able to respond she was already chowing down.
I'm glad she loves her vegetables!

They will be GREAT big sisters!

Quincy and Eleanor adore their new cousin Jaxen (Kristen & Rob's son). I think they will make GREAT big sisters. They are very excited to have a new baby in the house!

Well..... It happened.

No, I'm not talking about labor or baby coming in an exciting way.... I'm talking about our notorious "Quincy Princess" finding scissors and attacking her hair. Actually, considering her age, it wasn't too terrible-- but still, it's two weeks before her Uncle Nathan's wedding and she still got in trouble.  Brandon and I tried not to laugh (with relatively good success) and hopefully Quincy learned her lesson and wont attempt it again.... apparently she thought it was time for a haircut.

Quincy seemed surprised that I was able to tell she had gotten into my make-up while she was supposed to have been brushing her teeth and getting ready for bed... I must just have eyes in the back of my head.
